Odo o!
I remember trying so hard, thinking so deep and practically driving myself crazy on what should be the best thing to talk about in my very first blog post.
This is it!
My very first blog post. A little crazy how it came by. Maybe not so crazy actually.
Watching one of my favorite reality shows on Real Time, I found myself lost in dreams once more. Okay maybe not necessarily lost in dreams but more like found myself in a day dream. You just might wander, what is she dreaming about? Or is day dreaming even a thing?
Yes, I assure you, it is a thing. I was day dreaming about the life I really want for myself. Now, I’m not talking career wise or any of those things. Instead I’m talking about the end in itself. The result my career and every other of my input would resort into.
Being a Nigerian for one has made it almost seem like my dreams are way to far fetched. Many questions that come to mind are, do you know where you are from? Aren’t you dreaming a little too big? Isn’t this dream too much for you? Have you even been to the beach in Nigeria talk less of owning a beachfront home in Greece?
Yes, these are the many doubts that come to mind with this dream of mine. Yes I want to eventually settle in Greece with my husband and our children. I want to travel the world and see things that I have only read about or seen on my tv and phone. Yes I want to become a fantastic writer and earn a lot from it.
These dreams plague me, or better still haunt me. When my eyes are closed, when my eyes are opened, when I look at a book and many other things that bring to mind my wonderful dream.
One thing for which I am grateful for is that I am not in a hurry and most assuredly, I believe my dream would become my reality soon enough.
Soon, might be two months from now. Or five years from now. Or even 20 years from now.
This blog is not just for me to share my thoughts alone. It’s for you and I to connect on a much deeper level. To share our stories, my stories, stories of people that I hear and many more. It promises to be an exciting read always.
Remember to Dream!
Thank you for reading.
